Marceau Schlumberger is the board chairman at Western Exploration and has a long history of resource and equity work. He specializes in gold and silver mining, oil development, natural resources, healthcare services, and defense. Schlumberger most recently founded Coral Reef Capital, and was also a principal of Columbus Nova, a private equity and credit manager. Prior to Columbus Schlumberger was an associate with Triumph Capital, an investment banking analyst at Smith Barney, and an investment professional at Zilkha Capital Partners.
In addition to Western Exploration, Schlumberger also currently serves on the board of directors of Shawnee Oil Company, Krewe Energy, Rawhide Mining, and ROC Service Company.
Schlumberger received a bachelor of arts degree from Yale University and a masters of business administration from The Wharton School.
